CARTOON BAN SOUGHT

Decrying the negative impact of the so-called hentai anime cartoons on the moral upbringing and education of the young, the partylist group Alliance of Volunteer Educators (AVE), in a statement, yesterday asked authorities to censor, if not ban, the production of what they said were pornographic video materials.
